EViL 1.0.3 Released

Thursday, February 15 2007

This morning I uploaded Release 1.0.3 of EViL. There isn't much in this release except for the fact that you can now perform validations against properties of other entities. For instance, if you wanted to validate that an order date occurs on or after the date that a customer signed up, you can now do this as such:

[ValidateDateOccursOnOrAfter("Customer.SignupDate", "Order date must be on or after the customer's sign up date.")]
public DateTime OrderDate
{
    get { return _orderDate; }
    set { _orderDate = value; }
}

Credit for this functionality goes to IglooCoder, who has recently come onto the project as a developer. He's got plenty of good ideas for EViL and I'm definitely looking forward to working with him in all future releases.
