Scott Hanselman's most recent post explains *exactly* why I won't even consider buying an
Apple iPhone:
no Exchange support. Being able to have my phone constantly synced with my hosted Exchange account is critical to my well-being. I absolutely love
my Samsung Blackjack and am quite content using Window Mobile for anywhere-access to all my email, contacts, and calendar entries. I can't tell you how important it is for my wife to be able to send me invites that get automatically added to my calendar so that I have them on my phone. That's even more critical than the email or the contacts.
I also think it's quite telling for someone like Scott to take his iPhone back for these reasons. He really tried to make it work, but just couldn't overcome the hurdles. Sure the iPhone is very cool, but fanboy stuff aside, it just isn't practical for how I need to work and manage my life.
