Getting Pumped About HDC 2006

Tuesday, October 03 2006

Once again Joe Olsen and the gang have done a tremendous job of organizing the Heartland Developers Conference, which is fastly approaching at the end of this month. Registration ends this Friday October 6, but there are less than 50 spots available so you better hurry. If you're in the area and haven't registered, I highly recommend you do. I gave a talk there last year and was really impressed by the overall conference. Great speakers, great topics, and cheap (only $175 this year). The lineup is just as impressive, if not moreso, this year.

Luckily, I was asked to come back again this year and will be giving two talks: "Power Programming with Attributes" (Day 1) and "So You Want To Build a Visual Studio Add-In?" (Day 2). I'm pretty geeked about these talks, especially the attributes one. It's got a bit of a "wow" factor to it and I'm really looking forward to delivering it to a large group. You can see full abstracts for my talks and all the other ones on the sessions page.

And I'm definitely looking forward to hanging out with some people, such as Drew Robbins, DonXML, and the podcast boys Jeff Julian and John Alexander. If you're going to be there and want to hook up, drop me a line.
